This bank holiday Easton had its brilliant annual village fete. Punters enjoyed the amazing weather and Jude's ice cream with the traditional tea and cakes from the W.I. stand - and all money taken was donated to the Village Hall, Church and Cricket Club. Jude's even entered a team into the tug of war for the first time; Olly, Theo, John and Carl put in a brave effort, but sadly were knocked out by the burly boys of the Chestnut Horse Pub. Other highlights included John (who is definitely not a child) gatecrashing the childrens wheelbarrow race, and Theo driving Sally Taylor (of South-Today fame) to open the fete.
